Yes, you read the title of this post correctly. We\u2019ll get to why shortly. On 11 Aug 2020 Joe Biden (?) picked California senator Kamala Harris as his vice presidential running mate. And yes, there is a question mark about who actually chose her. We\u2019ll get to that shortly, too. The pick in some ways seems logical, but at the same time more sceptical pundits and voters are correctly asking why. The mainstream media, which is largely liberal, is lauding the pick, which is also predictable. In this post we will look at Harris\u2019 astrology, her policies and why she was chosen. All that is a given. But there is another point that needs to be made regarding this election, toward the end of this post, and points to why this election should lay to rest any doubts as to what is at stake \u2013 and that concerns neither Trump nor Biden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, we need to realize at the outset that the Democratic National Convention<\/a><\/span> is only just getting started, so nothing is written in stone, though it would appear to be a fait accompli<\/em>. Before we even start, I will say at the outset that I would not choose either candidate for president \u2013 Biden or Trump. The DNC chose the wrong man for the job, given what the people<\/em> actually wanted in a candidate to oppose Trump. It just goes to show the elitism of the DNC and their disconnect from the voter base. Trump and Biden are the two faces of our two-faced one-party system.<\/span><\/p>\n

On November 3rd<\/sup> we will have the illusion of a presidential election in the United States. More on that point toward the end of the post, too. No one of recent note becomes POTUS without first being thoroughly vetted by key vested interests in the outcome. The same is true for VP, and Kamala Harris fits the bill. With that in mind, we start with her chart.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kamala Harris was born on 20 Oct 1964 in Oakland, CA at 21:28 PDT. Her chart is below (bigger<\/a><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll hit the main points of Kamala Harris\u2019 chart here for background before moving on to wider considerations, without going too much into detail. She has Libra Sun, Aries Moon and Gemini rising. Her rising sign fits with the Gemini personality of the US. It is overall a dynamic chart even if the Sun\/Moon combination isn\u2019t, and hides, beneath the softness of the Libra a hard and ambitious nature. It is what one needs to succeed in politics, at least in US politics. The several features that stand out are the elevated Saturn conjunct the MC in the 9th<\/sup> house and trine her Sun in the 5th<\/sup> house, as well as trine the North Node and Ascendant. That gives quite a bit of benefit trough the elderly and the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Saturn placement in the 9th<\/sup> gives her the \u2018Top Cop\u2019 label, the 9th<\/sup> house being concerned with the judiciary. With Saturn there it is a tough placement and makes her difficult to budge on decisions, once taken, and that along with the Sun\/Moon combination. Then the picture begins to change.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mars opposes Saturn and is square to Jupiter, with Jupiter completing a t-square with the Mars\/Saturn base. Mars\/Saturn gives her an unusually high opinion of herself (she called herself a \u201ctop tier candidate\u201d in the primaries), that along with the imperious positioning of Saturn in the 9th<\/sup> house. Mars\/Jupiter in square makes her a person willing to take risks and makes her enthusiastic, but the square to Saturn by Jupiter tends to limit ambition. However, the entire setup also defines a close midpoint in the chart, Jupiter=Mars\/Saturn, which has the following connotations:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe complete concentration of energy upon a particular objective to the entire exclusion of other interests, the ability to render quick work (satisfactorily). – The ability to destroy or eliminate something thoroughly.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

That midpoint is actually quite descriptive of her, from what we know of her so far, especially with her work in the California judiciary. It is a unique combination for success along a narrowly defined line of work. It also marks her as a person who can handle a large work load, and quickly, which would be needed in the office of VP. The last part of the description of the t-square is something which people who ended up on the wrong side of the judicial bench found out to their detriment. She was known for her immovable stance on convictions, especially of non-violent, usually drug-related offenses.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is another t-square in the chart, formed by a Jupiter\/Neptune opposition with Mars at the apex, which creates a powerful setup for moving hearts and minds. It, too, forms a midpoint combination, Mars=Jupiter\/Neptune. The base opposition is found in mystics, dreamers, speculators and visionaries, realistic or not. The Mars apex makes the combination more volatile and undependable, though.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Harris is in full flight she has the capacity to be a moving speaker. When she is upset or thrown off-balance she is prone to gaffes and missteps, which has been noted on several occasions. The preceding t-square\/midpoint can be a perilous combination and is often seen in scandals. However, with the Sun\/Saturn trine, the likelihood of that is much reduced.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her Aries Moon gives Harris the desire for independence. The Moon is sextile to Saturn, making her full moon axis an \u2018easy opposition\u2019, and again bringing benefits through elders and men. It is a lucky combination, and she has certainly been lucky in life thus far. The Moon, in combination with the Sun, gives her the proverbial \u2018iron fist in the velvet glove\u2019 for which Libra can be known, and which in her case is accentuated with the Aries Moon.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two other midpoints worth noting regarding her relationships: Asc=Sun\/Mars and Asc=Moon\/Mars. Both of these point to cooperative effort and teamwork, and wholehearted devotion to a cause, as well as a propensity to take over positions of leadership. The latter midpoint also gives her more than the average contact with women, especially in leadership positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

But perhaps the single most powerful midpoint related to her career path is MC=Mars\/Uranus, within minutes of exactitude: \u201cAn inflexible character, the desire for independence<\/strong>, a person “putting the pistol to someone’s head<\/strong>“, an act of violence, extraordinary achievements<\/strong>. – The execution of drastic and violent measures<\/strong>, injury, accident, operation.\u201d That is not my interpretation. It comes straight out of Ebertin\u2019s work. But wait, there\u2019s more\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Harris\u2019 Midheaven also forms a midpoint with Mars\/Pluto: \u201cUnusual capabilities of advancement<\/strong> in life, self-confidence, ambition<\/strong>. – The misfortune to face overwhelming force without power<\/strong>, danger through the intervention of Higher Power<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Given what we know about Harris\u2019 astrology, the next question asked is why she was chosen. And the answer is very simple \u2013 Kamala Harris ticks all the boxes for a running mate:<\/span><\/p>\n
