Choices made on the bases of emotions and weighing options can be slow and maddening to onlookers. But choices made according to consciousness \u2013 of the soul \u2013 can happen in an instant. In the Libra quarter for this year choices made over the course of this quarter will reach far into the coming year. We have, in ways, reached some points of no return\u2026<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The solar ingress of the Sun into Libra took place on 22 September 2025 at 18:19 UTC. The chart is below (<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"http:\/\/malvinartley.com\/PDF Files\/charts\/libra_ingress_25.jpg\">bigger<\/a><\/span>):<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1182\" height=\"656\" class=\"wp-image-2851\" src=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/word-image-2850-1.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/word-image-2850-1.png 1182w, https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/word-image-2850-1-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/word-image-2850-1-1024x568.png 1024w, https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/word-image-2850-1-768x426.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In order to get a general sense of how this quarter will unfold it would be useful to <a href=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/2025\/09\/20\/the-21-sep-2025-partial-solar-eclipse\/\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">review the dynamics of the eclipse that took place two days before<\/span><\/a> the start of this quarter. That eclipse overshadows the chart for the quarter. The aspects within the eclipse chart are virtually the same as those in the chart for the present quarter except for the placement of the Moon. With that in mind we proceed to look at the astrology for the Libra quarter this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">There are three immediate standouts in the chart which will define the quarter. The first is the Sun opposite Neptune on the Libra\/Aries axis at zero degrees, with Saturn conjunct Neptune. Both Saturn and Neptune are in their retrograde phases. We thereby have the following midpoint interpretations:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Sun=Saturn\/Neptune<\/strong>: \u201cPhysical reaction or illness as a consequence of emotional suffering or upsets, lack of vitality, a sensitive physique, a propensity to illness, disease.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Well, we <em>are<\/em> entering cold and flu season in the northern hemisphere anyway. But the underlying and strongest factor here is the Sun\/Neptune opposition, which points often to hypersensitivity, at the same time also leaving one wide open to all sorts of psychic impressions (helpful or otherwise) and emotional upsets. Narcissists and obsessive-compulsive people, for instance, would be strongly and negatively affected by this combination. On the other side, for people well-rounded and deeply searching, this combination opens the possibility for bringing intuitive insights (rather than psychic impressions) into manifestation. We get the idea, then, that overly emotional and unstable people will be strongly impacted in this quarter \u2013 and into the next quarter \u2013 whereas visionary, well-connected and sane people will reap the benefit of anchoring their visions into material reality. This leads into the next point.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Secondly this axis is the central one of the kite configuration based in the triangle which we have seen for months, comprised of Neptune and Saturn acting as the apex of a triangle with Uranus and Pluto. It is a soft triangle with Uranus and Pluto both retrograde but also in a partile trine, both planets being sextile to Neptune. The trine between Uranus and Pluto forms a bowl pattern opposite the Sun, wherein all the planets in that bowl are retrograde, showing that plans are being made, conversations are being had, but that movement forward on any sort of planning and resolution to conflicts on the world stage are not moving forward as people would like. That will change in the next quarter and toward the end of this one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The Sun is the focal point in the kite opposite the collecting point of the Saturn\/Neptune conjunction. The entire configuration of the chart acts like a radar dish, both sending (via the Sun) and receiving (via Saturn\/Neptune) impressions. Impressions received will manifest overall as either hard lessons or supreme insights for the future, the future being shown by Uranus and Pluto as the legs of the base triangle. The two base planets of the triangle also find release and integration via two squares \u2013 Venus square to Uranus and Mars square to Pluto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The third and last thing of note is the approaching square of Mars square Pluto with Mars having just entered Scorpio. Mars is also opposite Eris. This would generally be a very militaristic and volatile setup, pointing toward warfare. (Eris was said to accompany Mars on the battlefield, revelling in the bloodlust.) In mundane figures, such as this one, Eris was said to be the \u2018rouser of armies, pushing them to fight\u2019. It was said Eris took away the mind and sense of any men who waged open war. Although it all sounds terrible enough, there is a modifying factor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Mars is the apex of a yod with the Neptune and Uranus sextile as the base. The base sextile is generally very positive, albeit with the modifying influence of Saturn. In general this particular sextile points to mystics, people engaged in psychical research, mediums, resulting in peculiar psychic states, inspirations, spiritual cognition and understanding. It can also point to long journeys and contacts with foreign countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">At this point it is worth noting that many analysts are now saying we are engaged in a type of hybrid World War III, this time not involving mass destruction (so far), but instead proceeding along financial and technological lines, with heavy emphases in the media and financial spheres. In the East we have a rapidly consolidating financial exchange system that bypasses the legacy and declining dollar-dominated SWIFT system. The latter has manifested as the current neoliberal financial system of the West, uniquely tied into the tech sector as a means of monitoring and enforcing control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Neoliberalism and tech have evolved side-by-side, whereas the tech of the East has evolved to facilitate exchange between nations based in commodities instead of fiat. It is too much to cover here, but perhaps it gives on some idea of what is evolving as the Western powers seek to preserve the legacy system put in place, first at the conclusion of the last world war, and later with the abandonment of the gold standard by the United States and then Europe. That brings us to the square between Venus and Uranus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The only major aspect Venus makes is its square to Uranus from Virgo. This indicates sudden moves toward negotiations, but at the same time unpredictable outcomes. We recently saw this with the announcement of a summit between Putin and Trump in Budapest, which gave people hope. But then, as quickly as it was announced, it was abandoned. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/j4tJep6NiPg?t=1296\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Trump was told to can the idea<\/span><\/a>, since too much money is still to be made off of the war and he is too much in debt to his donors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In all, this is a very dynamic and unstable figure that points to hypersensitivity, deception, militancy, peace as cover for preparations for war, and so on. On a personal level, this is a wait and see dynamic, wherein instead of moving forward with plans one is better off carefully planning, making sure everything is clear, out in the open, free from emotional pulls, avoiding any sort of rash action. For those people involved in esoteric studies, this quarter will be an excellent one for deep investigations, retreating from activity rather than proceeding forcefully, spending quiet time and allowing intuitions to fully reveal themselves. By far, this is a very potent chart for deep esoteric work. The revelations coming from this quarter can be profound.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">On the world stage, seeing that this is a mundane figure, partnerships signed under the Libran Sun will be tested. Some will be found wanting, and thereby best abandoned. The revelation of hidden factors will be writ large this quarter. The configurations within this figure can either work toward deception of the public, which is being attempted as the old narratives around the two major conflicts are rapidly collapsing \u2013 or \u2013 factors that have remained hidden up until now, being revealed, have the capacity to produce revolutionary results into the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">As for what to expect this quarter, we need to look at the backdrop from <a href=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/2025\/06\/28\/the-cancer-solar-ingress-2025\/\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">events of the last quarter<\/span><\/a>. The following points stand out:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u201cAny efforts may start out optimistically and appeared to be on the way to great success, but the Saturn\/Neptune influence will tend to sabotage the plans because there would be a fundamental flaw in the execution of the plans. Plans come crashing down to a reality check.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Military matters will be uncertain.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">There is one group of people who will benefit from this quarter and those are the oligarchs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">There will be unexpected developments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">We have the ongoing struggle between the financial systems of the Western oligarchic financialized economies and the rising multipolar mixed and industrialized economies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Alliances will come under stress because of security concerns. There will be strong crackdowns on foreign influences in many nations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">A fertile field for truth telling and future diplomacy is open for nations and people who have consistently shown good faith and honesty in their dealings&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Given the preceding forecasts for the Cancerian quarter the following events took place:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/peace-agreement-between-the-democratic-republic-of-the-congo-and-the-republic-of-rwanda\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">peace treaty between the DRC and Rwanda<\/span><\/a> was signed ending the armed conflict that started in 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/22\/28-countries-called-for-an-end-to-israels-war-on-gaza-what-did-they-say\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">28 countries issued a joint<\/span><\/a> statement calling for the immediate end to the Gaza war. The war continues under the guise of a \u2018shaky peace\u2019.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/cdjxje2pje1o\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Armed conflict broke out between Cambodia and Thailand<\/span><\/a> over a border dispute.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">There was an <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/2025\/07\/30\/the-2025-kamchatka-krai-earthquake-and-tsunami\/\">8.8 magnitude quake off the coast of Russia\u2019s Kamchatka Peninsula<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/astanatimes.com\/2025\/10\/how-armenia-azerbaijan-deal-reconfigurates-eurasias-connectivity-balance-of-power\/\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a peace deal<\/span><\/a> regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Armenia is instead being absorbed into the Western fold, while Azerbaijan is becoming a NATO\/Israeli outpost. This threatens the <a href=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/2018\/09\/10\/the-convention-on-the-legal-status-of-the-caspian-sea\/\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Caspian Sea accords<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The 2025 <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/malvinartley.com\/blog.malvinartley.com\/2025\/09\/07\/the-2025-trump-putin-summit-in-alaska\/\">Russia-US Alaska Summit<\/a><\/span> took place. The Russians have since decided it was a road to nowhere. The war will continue until Ukraine surrenders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcinfo.org\/ipcinfo-website\/countries-in-focus-archive\/issue-134\/en\/\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Famine was confirmed in Gaza City<\/span><\/a>. The Israelis still heavily restrict aid.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/politico-nightly\/2025\/10\/08\/the-french-political-crisis-that-keeps-getting-worse-00599112\">French government collapsed<\/a><\/span> after losing a no-confidence vote. A new PM was appointed, who resigned a month later.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">There was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=htZR6psm56I\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">color revolution in Nepal<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2025\/10\/10\/qatar-was-the-turning-point-how-israels-bombing-of-doha-ignited-a-peace-process-00604017\">Israelis attacked the Hamas leadership in Doha<\/a><\/span>, Qatar. The leadership survived.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">There were <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/simplicius76.substack.com\/p\/russian-drones-allegedly-swarm-poland\">alleged Russian drone incursions into Poland<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/us\/live-news\/charlie-kirk-shot-utah-death-09-11-25\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Charlie Kirk was assassinated<\/span><\/a>. MAGA was thrown into disarray.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/cy4d409v2neo\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Bolsonaro was sent to prison for 27 years<\/span><\/a>. Washington is not happy. He was one of theirs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2025\/sep\/21\/uk-canada-and-australia-announce-formal-recognition-of-palestine-with-wave-of-israel-allies-to-follow\">UK, Canada and Australia announced their formal recognition of Palestine<\/a><\/span> as a sovereign state, with France following the next day. The vote was to cool political tensions at home. None of the countries really meant it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">With all the preceding points in mind, what can we realistically expect to see transpire this quarter? Firstly, we can expect to see dramatic changes in the military situation and social fabric of Ukraine. The Russians have almost collapsed the last major defences of the Ukrainians in Donetsk. <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/w9mrMq53LWc?t=1093\">They have crossed the Dnieper River in Kherson Oblast<\/a><\/span> and appear to be making moves toward Odessa. Aid from the US has essentially been cut off. The Europeans are in panic about the prospect of Ukraine losing the war \u2013 which also means NATO losing the war. European leaders who had supported Ukraine for the past 3+ years are looking at the prospect of having to face their publics and explaining how and why they supported Ukraine knowing full well the war there was lost to the Russians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In Israel and Palestine, Netanyahu and Trump are both facing the prospect that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/world-news\/gaza-peace-deal-brokered-by-trump-faces-collapse-as-violence-resumes-125102000195_1.html\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Trump\u2019s peace deal, as it were, is about to collapse<\/span><\/a>. The hostages taken by Hamas who were still alive have been returned, and the bodies of the dead hostages are slowly being retrieved. The second phase of the cease-fire is approaching but <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/hamas-khalil-alhayya-qatar-ceasefire-1967-borders-4912532b11a9cec29464eab234045438\">Hamas has vowed never to give up their weapons<\/a><\/span> so long as the Palestinians exist under occupation. Iran is preparing for war, knowing the situation in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sb-bWagj7I0\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Israel is approaching a political crisis very quickly<\/span><\/a>. Hezbollah is preparing for the next phase of war with Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In summary of the two preceding paragraphs, we can expect Western media to be on overdrive seeking somehow to cover over the defeats the West is facing in Ukraine and Palestine. We can also expect provocations that will collapse any peace initiatives by the West, as they seek to maintain the status quo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The economic situation in the West will become quite unstable this quarter as prices rise due to import restrictions by China and uncertainty imposed by the Trump administration. Europe will be particularly vulnerable to a major economic crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The EU\/NATO construct is also beginning to fracture, with Visegrad states opposing the diktats from Brussels with increasing intensity. It is clear to most analysts who actually know what is taking place in geopolitics, that statements being issued by government officials and NATO officials, including Donald Trump, are wholly delusional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Lastly, looking at the geopolitical situation, military action against Venezuela is beginning to look increasingly assured. Such action will prove to be a political and military catastrophe for the US if it happens. The US may achieve the downfall of the regime, but the likelihood is that a very strong insurgency will arise which will eventually drive the US out of Venezuela. Such actions will also greatly aggravate tensions between South American states and the US. We may also see the fall of the Argentinian government, but that is another story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In all, this quarter is going to produce changes in the geopolitical and G7 economic systems that will lead to a major reset, politically and security-wise which we will see taking shape very strongly in the next quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Every nation now has to face the ugly truths about the liberal world order instead of the beautiful lies about freedom, democracy, human rights and so on that the liberal elites have used to justify their actions \u2013 actions that contradict the beautiful words. No nation will trust the United States as a negotiating partner given what we have seen this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Yet, with all that has just taken place, and strange as it may seem, a fertile field for truth-telling and future diplomacy has opened for nations and people who have consistently shown good faith and honesty in their dealings. The masks have come off the fa\u00e7ade of strength of some of the world\u2019s powers. We probably do not need to name them. There has been a large shift in perception about who actually wields power in this world and who is actually strong. There is fear in the halls of power in the West now, fear of losing their pride of place and standing. Meanwhile other nations are beginning to realize there is strength in numbers and in ethical conduct.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Security matters will be brought to the forefront, given the surprise attacks that recently happened in Russia and Iran. The US is facing the same within its own borders, as are the nations of Western Europe. Alliances (Venus) will come under stress because of security concerns. There will be strong crackdowns on foreign influences in many nations. We see this especially in Iran and the US. Russia is facing similar stresses. The EU is slowly coming around to the same situation because of the open borders policies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The ongoing struggle will increase dramatically between the financial systems of the Western oligarchic financialized economies and the rising multipolar mixed and industrialized economies developing in the so-called Global South. The old Western powers centered in the US are seeking to disrupt the rise of multipolarism, seeing Iran as the linchpin that must somehow be \u2018dealt with\u2019. They just tried a military solution with the 12-Day War, which didn\u2019t work. It failed because they miscalculated Iran\u2019s strength and societal cohesion, at the same time overestimating their own capabilities. This sort of dynamic will run throughout this quarter. It is represented in the two yods described above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Public opinion is at a crossroads and is beginning to turn sharply against Israel and Western establishments, as we have seen in the large protests across the West lately in support of Palestine. That change in direction is shown in the Moon\/Ceres opposition in the ingress figure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">In all, we are at a point of turning, with trust in Western governments and the leaders of the old European colonial powers collapsing. The trajectory is for realities to finally come to earth for the peoples of the world while the old guard scrambles to salvage their past pride of place. The old powers will use every means at their disposal to remain in power. Corruption (co-ruled by Pluto and Neptune) will be exposed. That exposure will lead to further decay of the leadership in many nations, leading to unsettled times over the next couple of years as power and wealth shifts and the age of empires dies. We are here to hold the light steady going forward. Building community is the key.
