Since the events on the 6th at the US Capitol, the tech companies have been busy banning people and groups, censoring anything that hints of violent speech, conspiracies and so forth, with Twitter purging over 70,000 accounts related to QAnon alone, and this after banning Trump himself for life. This is a move that will haunt them for years to come, as reaction has been swift, and the fall in the stock prices of Twitter and Facebook alone having tanked by $51 billion as of this writing.
