The Libra solar ingress takes place early in the morning of the 23rd of September 2026 in Europe, late on the 22nd in the Western hemisphere. It will be an unsettling quarter, but revelatory and revolutionary at the same time. This marks the northern autumn and the southern spring in the respective hemispheres. For more, read onβ¦

The immediate standouts from the chart are the Grand Trine formed by the Sun, Uranus and Pluto. The Grand Trine has two release points, which are Mars and Neptune along with their associated midpoints. This has the looks of being an extraordinary and revolutionary quarter. We note the Sun in opposition to Neptune and Mars in opposition to Pluto. We will come back to those two planets.
In addition to the main standouts we also see a square between Ceres and Saturn, the most obvious meaning of that square being there will be restrictions in supply and logistics. Ceres has to do with the harvest and in mundane charts represents foodstuffs, supplies, and crossroads experiences.
The exact square between Ceres and Saturn was on the 18th of this month, around the date when the oil spooks in the US announced the fuel crisis β the real one β had finally arrived. That was also near the date when Ansar Allah (the so-called Houthis) gained full control of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, a real turning point in the Saudi-Yemeni war.
Since this is a solar ingress chart the aspects and midpoints to the Sun are of more than average importance. The Sun opposite Neptune generally indicates hypersensitivity, a rich fantasy life often unrelated to realities, but it can also indicate visionaries and people who can access the subtle realms when the opposition is well integrated with the rest of the chart. The Grand Trine integrates the Sun fairly well, but it is not what we would call a personal influence. Instead what we are looking at with the combined influence of Uranus and Pluto is a revolutionary and transformative outlook by and large.
Noting the midpoints to Neptune, we see that Neptune is sesquisquare to Jupiter. The two planets are also integral with another midpoint, described presently. Jupiter/Neptune combinations generally signify visionaries, dreamers, speculators and hypocrites in mundane charts. There will be plenty of those qualities in people to go around. The thinkers and visionaries in this world will fare quite well during this quarter. Speculators and hypocrites will also be plying their trades as the quarter progresses. Then we have the Venus/Node midpoint. Venus/Node combinations most often refer to the following:
+ Adaptability and adaptation, obligingness, a pleasant and engaging personality.
– Lack of adaptability, little endeavor to oblige other people, a disagreeable nature.
When we combine the Jupiter/Neptune influence with the Venus/Node midpoint we can see combinations of all the preceding behaviors described in those four influences in the following string: Jup/Nep=Ven/Node. On the one hand we can see the dreamers and visionaries who are looking to the future and a multipolar world where hegemony has breathed its last. On the other hand we will see the movers and shakers in the passing world order showing a lack of adaptability, their generally disagreeable nature and their hypocrisy as they seek to hold on to the old status quo. Both will be in evidence this quarter.
Next we turn to the Mars release point to the Grand Trine. Mars is square to Eris, meaning the rhetoric meant to march us off to war will be particularly strident this quarter. Don’t buy into it. We note in addition in the declination table that Mars is parallel to Uranus. Parallels of declination behave like conjunctions. With Mars and Uranus combined we have the following:
Mars/Uranus: βObstinacy, brutal frankness, self-will and willfulness, intolerance, haste and premature action, the liability or proneness to injuries or accidents.β
Mars is also in a septile aspect with Uranus, pointing to βacts compelled by a collective needβ. Our politicians will try to tell us our collective need is to prepare for war. Take your pick as to which nation with whom we βmustβ go to war. Our real collective compulsion, though, is to hold our errant politicians to account. We would do better to be brutally frank with them and say, βHell no! We wonβt go!β Hegseth can go if he likes. He has started is βSend Meβ tour trying to dupe people using religion into fighting Iran for the oligarchs and Israel. We are happy to send him. That brings us to a most important midpoint for this figure: Mars=Mer/Plu.

When we see that Mars is approaching its exact opposition with Pluto (4 October), we can probably expect something along the lines of an October surprise. The Sun will be opposite Saturn on that day with Mercury forming the apex of a t-square comprised of the planets forming the midpoint just described. October could indeed be a very interesting month, given that Netanyahu is desperate to restart the war with Iran as a means to save his political skin. Israeli elections are on the 27th of October and wartime presidents are usually handily re-elected. Hegseth is happy to oblige.
Speaking of Mercury, there is yet another important indicator for the quarter, as follows:

- Mer=Mars/Sat: βThoughtlessness, hopelessness. – Thoughts on separation, illness, death or the next world beyond. – News of mourning and bereavement (murderers).β
We need to avoid such thoughts and stay as positive as possible. Mention was made above of Mars being in a septile aspect with Uranus. Mars is also in a septile-based aspect with Saturn β a bi-septile. Mercury forms the midpoint by the 45Β° modulus.
Mars/Saturn combinations in mundane charts generally point to tests of strength, disputes, separations, illnesses and cases of death. With Mercury at the midpoint we are looking at things like news of death, deaths in transit, mistakes in communications that can cause deaths or even people who have passed on speaking to us from βthe world beyondβ.
So, to boil all this down into what we might expect for this quarter we look back to what happened in the last quarter as a basis. The future always happens on the basis of the past.
Forecast: βAs to timing, mid-July will be quite telling. Transiting Jupiter will contact the Plu=Mar/Sat midpoint in the ingress figure: Jup/Plu=Mar/Sat: The complete concentration of energy upon a particular objective to the entire exclusion of other interests, the ability to render quick work (satisfactorily). β The ability to destroy or eliminate something thoroughly. β The stage of improvement during an illness, a fortunate separation, a quick dissolution (of the body)β¦β
Jupiter/Pluto combinations have the following attributes, positive and negative:
Jup/Plu: β+ The leading of or the participation in uprisings, the attainment of leadership.
β Loss of social standing and of oneβs wealth, conο¬icts with the authorities and the executors of governmental power (arrest). The misfortune to lose everything.β
Result: The Saudis bombed the airport in Sanaβa, Yemen to prevent an Iranian plane from landing. This broke the 2022 ceasefire between Yemen and Saudi Arabia. The bombing took place on 13 July. The next day the war between the two reignited. It has escalated to the point that the Saudi ruling family may be toppled. Their accumulated wealth has been wiped out. Reading the Jup/Plu attributes above, Ansar Allah has attained control over the Bab al-Mandeb Strait as a result. The Saudis have experienced the negatives.
In addition to the above, there was a coup attempt in Niger. The SDF in Syria announced their merger with the Syrian government forces. Major protests erupted in Syria over sharp increases in fuel prices.
Forecast: (From the preceding) βWhat has just been described is what will probably signal a major black swan event. Do not expect a savior to step forward.β
Result: This can be seen as the sweeping victories by Ansar Allah, which has sent a political earthquake through the region, ending the Abraham Accords once and for all, signalling the probable end of the petro-dollar and giving control of a shipping route upon which the economics of Europe absolutely depends to Ansar Allah. The latter is a nightmare for Washington and European capitals. It is a black swan for Washington and Israel. The rest of the world is celebrating.
Forecast: βWe are entering into a period of what I would call βpositive disillusionmentβ β in other words, the disillusionment with the status quoβ¦β
Result: One has only to look at Germany, where the ruling CDU Party is being routed, one province at a time. The German public has had it with Merz, talk of re-armament and austerity. Merz has vowed to stay on and sink with the ship, though, for which most Germans will be happy to watch.
The UK is another place to look, where Starmer was replaced with Starmer v. 2.0, where over 60,000 people have been arrested for practising free speech (protesting against genocide and for social media posts critical of Israel, of all things). And then there is Trump, whose approval rating is one of the lowest of any presidents in the US since polling started in the 1930s.
Forecast: ββ¦The American strategic petroleum reserves will be at critical levels by that point, with rising prices for just about everything (inflation), financial instability, and so onβ¦β
Result: Yep. And itβs about to get worse.

We are experiencing the Mars activation of the 12 Aug 2026 total solar eclipse now, at the ingress. Tensions are running very high at the moment, especially in the Middle East, with the Saudis on very shaky ground as a result of their war with Yemen. The kingdom could fall at any time. Solar eclipses often signal changes in leadership and we see that on the Arabian Peninsula and in Germany.
There was scuttlebutt over the weekend that the US was being drawn into the war between the Saudis and Yemen. This came on the heels of a high level meeting in Germany that was attended by US, European and Israeli military leadership. But then, since Trump likes the TACO dance, he decided β or perhaps his advisors decided for him β that attacking Yemen was probably not the best idea. The disaster was averted. The Saudis experienced the Trump bus once again.
On the 9th of December of this year we have the median activation date of the 28 Aug 2026 eclipse. The activation will start a week or two before that date. We can expect more fun and games when that activation takes place. However, there will also be a Jupiter activation along with the Mars activations, which makes for a rather interesting outlook. Their will either be mass destruction, or the military actions that are being planned in Europe and the Middle East will be averted.
Aside from the eclipse activations, we can expect this quarter to be marked by blackmail, attempts to steal elections, shortages to increase β largely because neither the Iranians nor Ansar Allah are prepared to budge on their demands. Ansar Allah wants the blockade on Yemen lifted by the Saudis. The Iranians want the US out of the region. And neither Washington nor Riyadh appears to be inclined to show some humility and common sense and simply end these conflicts and walk away. But it would be in their best interests to do so.
Meanwhile, the general public across the world will suffer the consequences of the hubris of the Western and Western-aligned powers, with higher prices, shortages of certain goods and the uncertainty β given the opposition by the Sun to Neptune in the ingress chart β of when these wars will finally be resolved. It would probably be a safe bet to assume that Netanyahu will be applying certain pressures to Trump to jumpstart the war with Iran anew since his freedom and political neck depend upon it.
For Americans in particular, if you want to see the Trump agenda stopped in its tracks you better get out and vote, even though the Republicans and AIPAC are pouring money into this campaign to shore up their troubled candidates. Sy Hersh just put out a piece outlining how the GOP wants to steal the election in November. The ICE men cometh to a Latino neighborhood near you. We can expect that much the same is happening in Israel regarding Netanyahu.
It is certainly going to be an exciting quarter, folks. If you can, keep some cash on hand, a bit of food in the cupboard and petrol in the car, unless you have an electric car. And stay aware: Not everything will be as we are told from official channels this quarter. Certain βnewsβ outlets are already rolling out dire warnings and atrocity porn to ready us for military actions. The powers-that-be want to send you, too, along with Six Gun Pete. As always, too, itβs a good idea to keep good relations with your neighbors. You never know when you might need them.
