The Sun entered the sign Cancer early in the morning of June 21st UTC. We were in what was to be the last days of a brief war between Israel and Iran, which will be covered in a separate post. On the day after the ingress Trump launched an attack on the Iranian uranium enrichment facilities, which at the time seemed as though the act might provoke a regional war with devastating consequences. But only a couple of days after that, a tentative cessation of hostilities is in effect. No analyst worth their salt expects it to last, at which point the war would flare up again, entering its next phase. That conflict has set the tone for this quarter, as we will see.
