Starting early in the morning on 26 September an explosion was registered in the Baltic Sea by the Danish Geological Survey near the island of Bornholm in the Danish economic exclusion zone. Exactly 17 hours later a second explosion was registered, this time northeast of the same island. Since then methane gas has been pouring out of the Nordstream pipelines, thus shutting off Germany’s only direct supply of natural gas from Russia. It was an act of war and a heinous act of ecoterrorism, as well as endangering the lives and livelihoods of millions of Germans and other European citizens by extension. The question is, who was responsible? Read on to find out…
What happened to those two pipelines was a clear act of sabotage, as well as a provocation. Those pipes are meant to supply Germany of it energy needs, along with much of northern Europe. The reason we know there were explosions and not earthquakes was given by a Swedish seismologist:
“A Swedish seismologist said on Tuesday he was certain the seismic activity detected at the site of the Nord Stream pipeline gas leaks in the Baltic Sea was caused by explosions and not earthquakes nor landslides.
Bjorn Lund, seismologist at the Swedish National Seismic Network at Uppsala University, said seismic data gathered by him and Nordic colleagues showed that the explosions took place in the water and not in the rock under the seabed.”
Then, there is the following regarding seismic readings, according to Michael Roth, a seismologist at SNSN:
“One of the explosions had a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale and was registered at as many as 30 measuring stations in Sweden. “Blasts and earthquakes can be distinguished by the type of seismic waves they emit…An earthquake of that magnitude would have lower frequencies than a blast. The signals related to the two events are clearly explosions… “However, we cannot deduce which source was used,” he said.”
“…the seismic events closely resembled what the network has detected in the past when the Swedish navy has conducted training exercises using depth charges and undersea mines… the relatively shallow depth at which the explosions took place would be reachable by divers or unmanned underwater vehicles.”
And finally,
“a second, larger explosion occurred at 7:04 p.m. “Preliminary estimates would say that this is at least equivalent to 100 kilograms of dynamite”
Somebody went to a lot of trouble to ensure those pipelines didn’t transfer any gas anytime soon, if ever. Nord Stream AG is a consortium of German, French, Danish and Russian investors. The Americans and the Poles have voiced strenuous opposition to both Nord Stream pipelines since their inception. We will have a look at the charts for both explosions.
The chart for the first explosion is below (bigger):
There are two configurations common to both events, described as follows: The first is Neptune=Sat/Ura=Eris/Plu, and then a finger of the world configuration – Sun=Jup=Sat/Ura. The forst is characterized by the combined effects of two midpoints, both of them powerful in their effects and expression:
- Nep=Sat/Ura: “The inability to face emotional stresses, falsehood or malice caused through weakness. – A resolve to resign oneself to the inevitable, the abandonment of resistance, weakening strength, separation, mourning and bereavement.”
- Nep=Eris/Plu: Eris had not been discovered at the time Ebertin’s work was published, but in the muythology for the planet she is described as accompanying Mars on the battlefield. We can gain some insight from the Nep=Mars/Plu midpoint: “Irreconcilableness or implacability, cunning and deceitfulness, the tendency to cause harm to others secretly and unobtrusively, (a disaster or catastrophe caused by water).”
Eris is the provocateur of conflict, the harbinger of war, as well as representing the propaganda of war in its intent to escalate conflict and divide nations in mundane astrology. With Neptune at the midpoint of these combinations we are clearly looking at an event involving water as well as deception or covert activity. These combinations are central to both charts.
The second combination, the Finger of the World, has as its fundamental basis the midpoint, Sun=Sat/Ura: “Physical exposure to severe tests of strength, the power of resistance, rebellion, inflexibility. – Separation.”
That combination also carries the midpoint, Jup=Sat/Ura: “The ability to adapt oneself to every situation, a fortunate release from tensions. – A sudden turn (in destiny), the misfortune to get into difficulties. – Losses, damage to buildings, motor damage.”
Thus, with the bolded points we already have a basis to establish who dunnit, which we get to shortly. There is also another midpoint to consider, again with Neptune: Nep=Sat/Pluto=Ura/Plu=Mer/Mars. This again is an extraordinary combination at the 45° modulus, and common to both charts. For all three of the midpoints we have the following, with a particular emphasis on the bolded text:
- Nep=Sat/Plu: “Falsehood, lies, frauds, the desire to harm others secretly, immorality, instability. – Danger through water, poison or gas. – Shattered nerves.”
- Nep=Ura/Plu: “Insecurity and uncertainty, unfulfilled wishes, fatigue, nervous diseases (neuroses).” Along with, “Acts of violence, upsets, subversive activities, putting the gun to someone’s head, the enforcement of decisions, an accident.”
- Nep=Mer/Mars: “The pursuit of fantastic plans, speaking without acting, not keeping of promises. – Hopeless plans, the tendency to harm others through falsehood or underhanded behaviour, the process of undermining another person’s position.”
And lastly, we see Eris at the MC of the chart. The first explosion was clearly a provocation, executed covertly for the stated purpose of undermining another person’s position, as highlighted in the bolded italics, preceding. The 2nd explosion was the largest, the chart for which is below (bigger):
The midpoints described for the first chart are still there, but Eris is no longer at the MC. Instead we see the midpoint Asc=Mars/Sat, our ‘death axis’: “A person whose advancement in life takes place with great difficulty only, obstacles or inhibitions caused by other people. – The necessity to economize, illness, separation, mourning and bereavement”. If the first chart showed the provocation, the second chart showed the death blow.
What are we looking at here? Who stood to benefit (cui bono)? Ockham’s razor is the best bet for analysing what has taken place – the simplest solution is the one preferred. We can use this razor to cut through the BS (propaganda) and trolling we are now seeing in social media. The following events have all taken place in the days around this event:
- The referenda in Eastern Ukraine, with the final votes showing those four regions soundly voted to leave Ukraine and return to Russia. (23 – 27 Sep)
- Protests in Germany calling on the government to drop the sanctions on Russia and start the flow of gas through Nord Stream 2. (Sep 25)
- The day after the explosions Poland on inaugurated a new pipeline that will transport gas from Norway through Denmark and the Baltic Sea. (Sep 27) That pipeline, incidentally, will transport a mere 9% of what Nord Stream 2 was capable of transporting. It might supply Poland with just under half of its gas needs. Germany consumes more than double that of Poland on a yearly basis.
The explosions occurred in Denmark’s Economic Exclusion Zone, an area dominated by NATO. Russian ships are not there at the moment. Prior to the explosions, the following were taking place:
- NATO warships had recently concluded naval exercises in the area
- The US Sixth Fleet had left the area only a few days before the explosions, where the USS Kearsarge had been conducting subsea mine clearing exercises off the coast of Bornholm Island, if that rings a bell (see above).
- US helicopters overflew the routes of the pipelines days before the explosions. The Americans had bragged about their efforts.
- The Germans had been warned about attacks on the pipelines weeks before the explosions
The US has long tried to stop Russian gas from going into Europe, instead saying “Europe wants to have to depend more on American oil and gas.” And the day after the blasts, the Polish MEP Radek Sikorski sent a Tweet thanking the Americans for blowing up the pipelines. Sikorski later deleted the tweet (the link previous is from the Wayback Machine), realizing his stupidity. He is the husband of Anne Applebaum, a notorious neocon masquerading as a journalist and member of the Council on Foreign Relations and board member of the National Endowment for Democracy.
There are two good rundowns on events, with numerous comments at Moon of Alabama. There is also this from Fox News (not a fan, BTW, but I will listen to sense wherever it comes from):
Given all the above, who do we think perpetrated such an act? Is it not obvious enough? Well, there is more.
“The opinion that the destruction occurred because of someone’s ‘ill will’ was expressed earlier by the deputy head of the National Energy Security Fund Alexei Grivach. ‘If a leak on one line could still be an accident, the consequence of a defect or an involuntary impact, then on three [lines] it is clearly someone’s ill will. Well, who is fighting with Russian gas in Europe is not really hiding,’
The attack occurred in shallow waters in the Baltic Strait. Large submarines cannot go there, nor can ships with a draught of more than 15 meters, not to mention all the sensors there.
“That was a sophisticated operation, carried out in stealth in the shallow depth of the Danish straits. That would in principle rule out submarines (ships entering the Baltic are limited to a draught of 15 meters). As for prospective “invisible” vessels, these could only loiter around with permission from Copenhagen – as the waters around Bornholm are crammed with sensors, reflecting fear of incursion by Russian submarines.”
In addition to all the above, Victoria “Cookies” Nuland stated prior to the Russian SMO that come hell or high water Nord Stream 2 would not go forward if Russia invaded. Condy Rice, showing her ignorance of the Russian economy and will, stated that Russia would run out of cash before Europe ran out of energy. It has been in the primordial interests of the United States to prevent an economic alliance between Russia and Germany. Nord Stream was a red flag to the Wall Street bull. Of course, to the indoctrinated, the MSM and Western governments all this is irrelevant. The Russians did it, end of story. Hit them with more sanctions.
The Russians addressed the need for military protection of the pipelines, and they knew exactly how the sabotage would be need to be done, outlined in a prescient article from last year (translate from Russian). Cynics would say that only lends credence to the idea the Russians did this, but that ignores the fact the blasts took place in NATO’s waters. As far as we know there have been no Russian naval vessels in those waters since the SMO started in February. Their expressed need for military protection of the pipes outlines their desire to protect their investment.
It has been said that the best place to hide something in plain sight. Both the guilty parties and the Germans have been omertà thus far in this gangster war. Why not place explosive devices next to pipelines during ‘naval exercises’? The Russians have good satellite intel and Ukrainian double agents. They would have known what had happened, but at the moment they aren’t saying. Instead, they have called for a special session of the UNSC to have a chat with their ‘Western partners’ on the matter.
There are elements of domestic politics here, as in Poland, as well as desperation in Washington and Poland. They want this war to continue as long as possible, thinking somehow it will drain the Russians and they will finally give up. If peace all of a sudden breaks out then the focus comes back onto Western leadership which would tend to put a hold on or stop to Washington’s plans to make the EU totally dependent on US LNG.
Just one look at the transits and directions to the EU shows who will send up the white flag first. The chart is below (bigger):
Have a look at the directions, all forming directed midpoints to the EU Sun, and this in the midst of the EU’s Saturn return: Sun=Mars/Plu=Moon/Sat=Vertex. Contained in this are the midpoints Sun=Mars/Sat and Plu=Mars/Sat, all extremely difficult combinations. All this is activated by a transit of Neptune – sabotage, deception and covert action via water putting extreme strains ona person’s, nation’s or entity’s vitality, possibly resulting in death. The involvent of Neptune points to mysterious death and/or grievous loss. The natal Scorpio Sun is in the 4th house of infrastructure.
This event has the potential to undo the EU. It has certainly at least temporarily crippled the EU. Germany had been the beating heart of EU industry. The stock markets across the EU are bleeding red now, with the Euro at historic lows, as well as the Pound Sterling The one currency that has soared in value in the West is – you guessed it – the US dollar.
And the Poles have been particularly strident in their push for war with Russia and to put an end to Nord Stream. They also have it in for Germany. There’s a little matter of an invasion during WWII and the carving up of their territory by the allied powers (including Russia) after the war. On September 1st this year Poland levelled war reparation claims on Germany to the tune of $1.3 trillion. Berlin says the matter is closed. The Poles thus become prime suspects in the Nord Stream caper.
John Helmer (from a previous link) outlines the political situation in Poland, as well as pointing out that Poland’s shores are very close to where the incidents took place. He fingers Poland for the dastardly act directly, along with a little help from NATO:
“The military operation on Monday night which fired munitions to blow holes in the Nord Stream I and Nord Stream II pipelines on the Baltic Sea floor, near Bornholm Island, was executed by the Polish Navy and special forces. It was aided by the Danish and Swedish military; planned and coordinated with US intelligence and technical support; and approved by the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
Morawiecki is bluffing [lying, when he says], “It is a very strange coincidence,” he has announced, “that on the same day that the Baltic Gas Pipeline opens, someone is most likely committing an act of sabotage. This shows what means the Russians can resort to in order to destabilize Europe. They are to blame for the very high gas prices”. The truth bubbling up from the seabed at Bornholm is the opposite of what Morawiecki says.
But the political value to Morawiecki, already running for the Polish election in eleven months’ time, is his government’s claim to have solved all of Poland’s needs for gas and electricity through the winter — when he knows that won’t come true.”
The reason it won’t come true was outlined above, plus the fact there is little guarantee the gas flows through his little pipeline will be as he guarantees. Then, there is a little more from Helmer:
“The attack not only escalates the Polish election campaign. It also continues the Morawiecki government’s plan to attack Germany, first by reviving the reparations claim for the invasion and occupation of 1939-45; and second, by targeting alleged German complicity, corruption, and appeasement in the Russian scheme to rule Europe at Poland’s expense.”
Not only does Polish, Danish, Swedish and American participation in this scheme show a fundamental split in NATO (Germany is a prime NATO member, with its unification at the heart of NATO’s creep eastward), it also goes to show that NATO’s stated purpose is still in force:
“to keep the Soviet Union out, the Americans in, and the Germans down.”
Radek Sikorski in his now-infamous tweet (previous) was deflecting blame away from Poland and back onto Biden and the Americans. Sikorski tweeted a little later regarding the bombing of Nord Stream, “Mała rzecz, a cieszy. As we say in Polish, a small thing, but so much joy.” With friends like the Poles and the rest of NATO, who needs enemies?
As it stands and as it has been for years, the Germans have no friends in NATO. Once the German people figure that out (and a growing number of them have) this event may well signal the first major rupture in NATO. Sikorski’s tweet was stupid in its hubris.
Then, there is the Russian side, where they have opened a criminal investigation into the matter:
“MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has information pointing to the West’s involvement in sabotage at the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, SVR chief Sergey Naryshkin told journalists on Friday.
“We already have some materials which point to the Western trail in organizing and implementing this terrorist attack,” he said. “In my opinion, the West is doing everything to hide the real perpetrators and organizers of this terror attack,” the official added.”
Mind you, any such evidence, no matter how damning or false, will be dismissed out of hand by the Western powers as ‘Russian disinformation’.
The Nord Stream 2 pipeline cost billions to build. As soon as the explosions took place the British press jumped to the conclusion that Russia did it, with zero proof whatsoever. As an accusation, it makes zero sense. On the 17th Putin told the Europeans all they had to do to start the flow of gas through Nord Stream 2 was to drop the sanctions and press the button.
Germany has a contract with Gazprom until 2030 for that gas, for which Germany has to pay, regardless of whether the gas flows or not. But to stop gas flow through the pipes it would be an expensive and dangerous procedure to actually blow up the pipes, not to mention trying to go undetected into NATO waters. Far simpler would be to just turn off the valves.
Russia actually would prefer to do business with Europe instead of having to prosecute the senseless war and sanctions into which the US has provoked it. The Anglo-American axis are the only parties to benefit from this act of eco-terrorism in the Baltic Sea.
So, from all the evidence, short of admission by the parties involved, cui bono from this event? Certainly not Germany or Russia, or Europe as a whole. It was an act of desperation and escalation. Russia, for its part since the Western powers have shunned them, is quite busy building its contacts and business in Asia, Africa and to a lesser extent in South America. Instead, the Americans are busy destroying what is left of Europe’s industrial capacity. Germany has been defeated by America for the third time in a century.
And in terms of industrial capacity, the Americans may end up owning European industry, but it is likely the South Koreans who will be taking over the manufacturing industry lost by Germany and the rest of Western Europe. American laborers have lost their manufacturing base over decades. It has been moved overseas to places like China and…South Korea. Real engineering in the US hs been replaced by financial engineering.
All hopes of a settlement in the Ukraine conflict were blown up with the pipelines. And now we are in uncharted waters. Washington has seriously upped the ante and we now enter a potentially very dangerous phase of this conflict.
However, when it comes to Europe there is really only one logical solution and cost effective solution to Europe’s economic woes, and that is to defy Washington and look East. It would mean ending the war, sitting down with the Russians and making sensible security agreements. It is easier said than done, but Eurasia is Europe’s homeland, after all, not the United States.
However, to defy Washington, that also means finding some European leaders who show some backbone and respond to the needs of their people. Such leaders would appear to be as scarce as hens’ teeth. Dunning and Kruger are using Hanlon’s razor to cut Europe’s throat. Unless Europeans want to become a banana republic beholden to and owned by American interests, the time for serious decisions has come. Europe is well on its way to becoming poor if things continue as they are. The gauntlet has been thrown down and winter is coming on quickly. Whatever happens will depend quite a bit on what happens with Ukraine in the next few months and with the European public. There is still a chance to save ourselves here in Europe. There are other pipelines…
