The Cancer solar ingress for 2026

The Sun went into Cancer on the 21^st of June, which is the solstice, and which started the summer quarter in the northern hemisphere. This quarter will be marked by very significant events, which will lead to reconfigurations of the world order in several places. Despite memorandums of understanding, alleged agreements between nations and so forth, what we are actually seeing is optics instead of reality. For more, read on…

The chart for the ingress is below (bigger):

The major standout is the approaching square of the Sun to Neptune, denoting heightened sensitivity (sometimes hypersensitivity), which can lead to many phenomena. Neptune rules oil, for one thing, with this quarter highlighting the world uncertainty regarding oil supplies. This is especially important to the United States, which suffers from a lack of the middle distillates in its oil required for diesel and jet fuel.

The oil traditionally used for those middle distillates for the US has come from the Persian Gulf. And that oil is currently unavailable to the US due to its being blocked by Iran, the latter having control over the Strait of Hormuz. From mid-July to mid-August the strategic reserves of said oil in the US will be depleted, at which time fuel prices will shoot up dramatically. That will also mean the US will be unable to wage any large-scale military actions. Air travel will also suddenly become much more difficult.

Neptune can also represent deception. In the media sphere this is also known as ‘spin’. And there are several notable items of spin to which we are being subjected at the moment:

• Ukraine has turned the tide of the war against Russia and has a chance winning
• Putin is on the back foot, Russia’s economy is in tatters, the Russian army is plotting a coup against Putin, etc., etc.
• The Strait of Hormuz is open and oil is flooding the market
• The price of oil has dropped to below pre-war levels
• Iran has been defeated, its navy and air force destroyed, etc., etc.
• The American economy is growing and resilient
• Lebanon and Israel have decided upon a de-escalation model with Israel eventually to withdraw from Lebanon

None of the above points are true. The truth of the various matters will be outlined in an upcoming monthly letter, but are too much to go into here in this short blog. To give a thumbnail, though, the Russians are advancing strongly on all fronts, and the Russians have warned the Europeans Russia is ready for war if the EU wants to press matters further. The Russian economy is strong, Putin’s popularity is still quite high and talk of a coup is just that.

The Strait of Hormuz is open – just not to American and Israeli ships, or to ships of nations that have not made proper arrangements with the Iranians. Iran still maintains military control over the entire strait. Oil is flowing out of the Strait – to China, India and a few SE Asian states, but not at large volumes.

The oil price, like so many prices for other commodities, is based upon speculation instead of realities. The market price may show to be low now, but that price is illusory and very temporary. The prices are based in futures trading, assuming the Strait will remain open. See preceding paragraph. As we will soon find, that pricing can be very volatile.

Iran is stronger than ever. It is the collective West that has suffered its worst strategic defeat since Vietnam.

As to the American economy, ask the average American householder how well things are going. Almost certainly you will get a different answer than that in the point above.

And finally as to Lebanon, no one apparently consulted with Hezbollah, or with Iran about de-escalation. Apparently the acting president Aoun was pressured into signing an unconstitutional and reckless agreement that will quickly see its collapse, as well as probably his presidency. Hezbollah will never give up its weapons and the Lebanese army will not likely try to force matters. Netanyahu seeks to foment a civil war. His gloating over the agreement will be short-lived, which brings us to the midpoints in the ingress chart.

There are four midpoints especially worth noting in the ingress figure:

• Sun=Mars/Plu: “A hard-working person, the ability to work till collapse or complete breakdown. Injury, accident, violent measures, an upset or shock caused through the intervention of Higher Power.”
• Ura=Mer/Sat: “Great inner tension, excitability, haste, incompatibility. – A sudden release from tension, quick decisions, a quick departure, a car-.ride, the inclination to go one’s own way. – A disease of the nerves.”
• Ura=Sun/Plu: “Carrying out fanatic reforms without regard for oneself. – Sudden adjustment to new circumstances (arrest).”

And most especially:

• Plu=Mar/Sat: “Brutality, the rage or fury of destruction. – The intervening of Higher Power, bodily injury or harm (murder, the death of a great many people).”

We have just seen a manifestation of this latter midpoint with the 2026 Venezuela Earthquakes, which devastated Caracas, killed almost 1,500 people, injured over 3,000 and left almost 70,000 souls unaccounted for. The quakes happened 3 days after the ingress. The chart for the quakes also featured that midpoint. The event chart itself was a classic study in midpoints as they feature strongly in disasters, natural and man-made.

There were a few claims on social media that the Venezuela quakes were caused by HAARP or some-such – geo-engineering in other words, used as a weapon against Venezuela. The truth is rather more mundane. There was lightning which preceded the quakes, which was the result of piezoelectric effects caused by the shifting of tectonic plates. If those plates are abundant in quartz crystals and other crystalline structures the pressure of the shifts produces electricity. Venezuela is richly blessed with quartz crystals. And there is gold in some of them thar crystals. Videos of lasers directed at Caracas preceding the quakes were fake, generated by AI and clickbait. Debunked. The dead giveaway was the nighttime setting of the AI video, whereas the quakes took place in daylight hours.

So, what can we realistically expect from this quarter? To get an idea we look at what was forecast for the previous quarter and what actually eventuated. To start:

“This quarter will be involved primarily in the changing of the economic order, especially for the post-World War II system imposed by the Allied powers at the end of the war. This is being dismantled at this very moment in the Persian Gulf as a result of Operation Epic Fury, by the Iranians instead of the Americans and Gulf monarchies.”

Result: The Gulf states are moving their money out of the region to banks in Singapore. This affects the petro-dollar. The petro-dollar is being bypassed now as a result of the war. The petro-dollar was one of the major pillars of US financial power.

“The consequences of this war will be long-term, painful for the Western powers, and probably permanent in terms of the next decades.”

Result: The US has been driven out of the Persian Gulf region, essentially. Their bases there have been rendered unusable and are unlikely to be rebuilt. The US military has shown itself to be much weaker than supposed. As a result of the war the US lost its last chance to control a full 2/3 of the world’s oil reserves. 

“In the next quarter, starting with the Cancer ingress the financial and security situation in the world is likely to be unclear and unstable, upended as a result of the current war. In looking at the astrology from now through the middle of the year it seems rather clear that this war will continue at the very least for some weeks and probably for months. Washington always seeks for a quick victory, whereas what we are looking at now is a slower war of attrition. In such a scenario, the Americans and Israelis will shortly have to reconsider their options.”

Result: Now that the MoU has been signed its demise has also been seen on the horizon. This was Trump’s last best hope to find a peaceful solution to the conflict. The Israelis and the Zionist oligarchs in the US want the war to continue. They just want to wait until the midterms are finished. But the Iranian negotiators have been warned that any real rapprochement with the Americans is off-limits. The Americans are seen as being devious and untrustworthy, so negotiations at some point will be killed altogether. Marco Rubio is also seeking to sow division in the region.

As to timing, mid-July will be quite telling. Transiting Jupiter will contact the Plu=Mar/Sat midpoint in the ingress figure:

• Jup/Plu=Mar/Sat: The complete concentration of energy upon a particular objective to the entire exclusion of other interests, the ability to render quick work (satisfactorily). – The ability to destroy or eliminate something thoroughly. – The stage of improvement during an illness, a fortunate separation, a quick dissolution (of the body)…”

Jupiter/Pluto combinations have the following attributes, positive and negative:

• Jup/Plu: “+ The leading of or the participation in uprisings, the attainment of leadership.

– Loss of social standing and of one’s wealth, conflicts with the authorities and the executors of governmental power (arrest). The misfortune to lose everything.

Given the preceding we are likely to see uprisings, violent suppression of the same, military actions leading to massive losses. The American strategic petroleum reserves will be at critical levels by that point, with rising prices for just about everything (inflation), financial instability, and so on. It all sounds like a lovely time – not. But Cancer is about security. And forewarned is forearmed, as the saying goes.

Jupiter/Pluto combinations point to the plutocracy, and it will be in the period just mentioned that they will be forced to make a move in order to shore up their control over society. Many of them are also facing monumental financial losses, shades of the suicides that were characteristic of the 1929 financial crash, beginning the Great Depression. What has just been described is what will probably signal a major black swan event. Do not expect a savior to step forward. We, as humanity, must work to save ourselves.

We are entering into a period of what I would call ‘positive disillusionment’ – in other words, the disillusionment with the status quo that leads to greater awareness and thereby enhanced creative potential. Because the other side of the Sun-Neptune square mentioned above is the possibility of increased intuitive awareness, if rightly handled. This quarter will serve to break us out of our illusions. And that is always a blessing in disguise.

Guard your finances, keep your fuel tanks full, turn off the lying television and cancel your subscriptions to legacy newspapers. They will not serve us for what is coming, unless you want to entertain yourself with the attempts to spin what we are witnessing as some sort of great victory and 5D chess moves. Or…learn how to read between the lines and behind the headlines. It’s a good exercise. Just remember – the oligarchs and vested interests control and own all of our legacy media in the West, including Western social media.

Most especially, take care of your loved ones and your community. They are always the best line of defense in any time of stress. Rainbows, frolicking dolphins, alien encounters and unicorns can happen, but it is probably best not to pin one’s hopes on them.
