Early in the morning on the 13th of May 2023 a huge explosion took place in the village of Hrushevitsya, Ukraine, in the center of the Khmelnytskyy oblast. It has been dubbed the largest explosion thus far in the Ukrainian conflict. There are several reasons to examine this particular event. Nord Stream – The gauntlet has been thrown down
Starting early in the morning on 26 September an explosion was registered in the Baltic Sea by the Danish Geological Survey near the island of Bornholm in the Danish economic exclusion zone. Exactly 17 hours later a second explosion was registered, this time northeast of the same island. Since then methane gas has been pouring out of the Nordstream pipelines, thus shutting off Germany’s only direct supply of natural gas from Russia. It was an act of war and a heinous act of ecoterrorism, as well as endangering the lives and livelihoods of millions of Germans and other European citizens by extension. The end game with Ukraine [Update at end]
With the conflict in Ukraine now into its 2nd month and with media saturation of the events on the ground there, just what are the ultimate goals of all the parties involved? At the moment the main parties in the conflict are the US, Canada, and virtually all of Europe, including Russia. This conflict was forecast years ago by foreign policy experts in the US and Europe, yet the war itself is cast in the media as an isolated event, solely an act of Russian aggression, with no historical context.
