The 12-day Israel-Iran War

In the early morning hours of Jun 13th 2025 Tehran as rocked by a series of explosions. The Israelis had just launched ‘Operation Rising Lion’, an attempt at overthrowing the leadership of Iran – a regime-change operation. The Israelis claimed the attacks were targeted to destroy Iran’s nuclear program, but the operation’s title gave the real game away. It was an attack the Israelis would very soon come to regret, as the astrology shows. For more, read on…

Operation Rising Lion began at about 03:30 IRST in Tehran. The chart is below (bigger):

Not shown on the chart is the info used for the time of the event. From the site The Aviationist, we have the following info:

“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video statement at around 0100 UTC, in which he said: “Moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival. This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat.” Reports of explosions in Tehran began to surface around an hour prior to this, with images soon trickling out depicting very targeted strikes against apartment buildings. This appears to indicate that individual people were targeted alongside facilities themselves.”

So, at midnight UTC, or close to it, explosions were heard in Tehran. The operation had started. Iran does not use summer time (DST). Its standard time is 03:30 after UTC. The fact that we do not have an exact time to the minute for the event is not that important at this point. What is important is that it took place close to 03:30 Tehran time. That places Uranus on the Ascendant, probably in the 12th house (hidden enemies of the state) showing a surprise attack, with Mars squaring Uranus and the Ascendant from the 4th house of the chart.

The Ascendant in a war chart shows the nation that is being attacked, while the 7th house shows the open enemies of the state. Gemini is rising in the chart, with its ruler Mercury in the 2nd house opposite the Moon in the 8th house (death, transformation, ‘other people’s money’) . The ultimate aim of the Israeli-Western axis was to seize the resources (the financial assets) of Iran. The Moon sits at the apex of a Finger of the World configuration with the Mars/Uranus square at the base of the configuration. It is also the midpoint of the Finger of the World, the general reading of which is as follows:

    • Moon=Mars/Uranus: “Energy or power of life governed by feeling, the desire to achieve something very big, ambition. – Special effort expended by a woman (birth). – Accident or injury happening to girls and women.”

The ambition of the Israelis (from here on meaning the Israeli-Western axis) was to overthrow the ‘regime’, as they like to call the Iranian leadership, and to install a Western-friendly puppet who would allow for the extraction of the Iranian resources – in other words, another Shah. We note on the old Iranian flag the presence of a lion with a rising Sun in the background. This was the flag of Iran under the Shah’s regime (1953 – 1979). The Israelis have been grooming the Shah’s son (Reza Pahlavi) to restore the throne, which they would like to call a ‘secular democracy’. The Iranians don’t much care for him. He is the exemplary failson and has far more loyalty to the US than to Iran.

At the start of the attack the main front was from inside Iran (12th house, hidden enemies of the state). The Israelis had been infiltrating and setting up sleeper cells for the very date, who in turn had assembled attack drones that were used to bomb anti-aircraft installations, missile launchers and radar installations. Once that was done Israeli aircraft launched stand-off attacks and bombed a gathering of generals the Mossad had tricked into gathering at a predetermined spot. The missile strike killed many top-ranking military officers. Drone attacks assassinated nuclear scientists and other officials. These latter points were shown by the placement of Pluto in the 9th house of the chart (intellectuals, scientists, foreign relations).

The initial air strikes on Iran included strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. These were executed primarily by firing missiles at the sites from Iraq and Syria. The Israelis learned from the last time they tried to strike Iran that they had better execute caution in overflying Iranian air space. The Russians have sold several of their S-300 antiaircraft systems to the Iranians. There was no photographic evidence of Israeli planes in Iranian airspace before or after the Iranian air defences were reactivated later in the day. Iranian radars can track stealth aircraft. Instead, the Israelis relied on heavy attack drones for strikes using Iranian air space The Iranians shot several of them down.

Pluto rules, among many other factors, assassinations, nuclear sites and nuclear scientists, accomplices, terrorism, spies, general destabilization and revolutionary upheaval. The 9th house marks the Plutonian influence as having a foreign influence. Mossad has long infiltrated many aspects of Iranian society, including its nuclear program. There were collaborators with the Israelis from within Iran. The IAEA was collaborating with Mossad for years. Drones and airstrikes were launched toward Tehran from Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea. Many of the foreign actors were from Afghanistan and India, recruited by the Israelis for the attacks.

Pluto forms the base of a triangle with Uranus, the two forming a ‘revolutionary pair’. The triangle has the Saturn/Neptune conjunction at its apex. The hope of the attack was to cause a panic (Uranus) and subsequent uprising in Iran that would depose the sitting government of Iran (covered in a subsequent post). That triangle also featured in the Cancer ingress post:

“Pluto is in an applying trine with Uranus, with the Saturn/Neptune forming the apex of a triangle and midpoint of the trine. This is a combination that is ripe for revolutionary change – as in a change in the world order. But with the Neptunian element at the apex of the triangle there will be unexpected developments.”

Indeed, there were unexpected developments – for the Israelis, and not to their liking. Those unexpected developments evolved because the Israelis had discounted Iranian society and the Shia ethic. They also deceived themselves, thinking the Iranians were weak, that they would collapse (as had Syria), that elites in Tehran wanted the return of the monarchy and would thereby revolt, that their plan would completely do away with the air defences in Iran and that the public would panic.

The Israelis boasted that none of their planes were shot down over the 12 days, which is probably true, seeing they never entered Iranian air space. But the boast is part of the deception and propaganda of war, as if to say they were able to have free rein over Iran, when in fact they were loath to risk their aircraft. Deception had a large role to play in this war. Deception is commonly associated with Neptune.

With Neptune at the apex of what would otherwise be interpreted as a positive configuration (sextiles and trines) of the aforementioned triangle, we have to look a bit deeper. There are other aspects to the planets in the triangle – a square by Mars to Uranus, a square by Jupiter to Neptune and Saturn and a square by Venus to Pluto. Every part of the triangle is stressfully aspected by other planets. So, the base of the triangle with Neptune at the apex can be read in a couple of ways:

+ The attainment of great objectives by an immense application of effort, the bringing of new things into being, the creation of new conditions of living.

Or…

Acts of violence, upsets, subversive activities, putting the gun to someone’s head, the enforcement of decisions, an accident.

In fact, every point just listed about the plusses and minuses of the triangle are apparent, depending upon one’s perspective. What we see with the outcome of the war so far is the negative aspects were exhibited by and to the Israelis, while the Iranians overcame and brought a new strategic order into being, all of which we will cover here in a bit. The Israelis expected the Iranians to fall to pieces and that a new Middle East would be born, with Iran out of the way of Israeli hegemony.

There were several deceptions at work enabling the start with war, starting with the negotiations over the nuclear program with the US, which were only a cover to keep the Iranians off guard. The same was true of the alleged split between Trump and Netanyahu, which supposedly would have weakened cooperation between the US and Israel – when in point of fact Israel is essentially an American colony and the aims of the two are joined at the hip. The war had been planned well in advance in cooperation between the US, Israel and the UK. The final deception was the fake IAEA report that claimed Iran was very close to producing a nuclear weapon. That was a casus belli Israel used to justify its attack on Iran. MI6 had infiltrated the IAEA years before.

There were similar negotiations between the US and Russia leading up to Operation Spiderweb in Russia, which caught the Russians off guard. That attack along with this one suggests collusion between the intelligence agencies (CIA, MI6, Mossad) in both attacks. There was deception after Rising Lion started, with the Israelis telling the Iranians their skies were open, their leaders had been killed, with collaborators burning piles of tires to mimic air strikes and explosions, and so on. None of it worked. The Iranians rallied. They were ready. And then they struck back, much to the dismay and horror of the Israelis – and the planners in the US and UK as well.

The other main factors in the chart – the Moon Wobble and Mars in the 4th house – also show what was planned in the outset of hostilities. Moon Wobbles typically describe upsetting emotional events and sometimes catastrophes, which is what we saw in Iran at the outset and in Israel afterwards. The war started on the day the Moon Wobble was to be exact. But of interest was when that became exact, which was at 13:00 in Tehran. That was about the time the Iranian air defences came back online. By that time also the Iranian military leadership had been reshuffled. Then the tide of the war began to turn.

As night fell in Israel on the 13th Iranian missiles began to rain down on Israel. After 12 days of being pummelled by the Iranians the Israelis had to sue for peace. The Iranians were very precise in what they hit in Israel, with the aim of what amounted to be a special military operation (SMO) – to destroy Israel’s ability to wage war. The Iranians also set about wrecking Israel’s economy by bombing the two remaining ports. That also put a halt to the American-Israeli IMEC project. The ports at Haifa and Ashdod were to be the main logistics hubs into the Mediterranean and beyond from India. They will have to undergo major repairs to become operational again.

And what about Mars in the 4th house? The initial attacks in Iran came from inside the country (4th house). The attacks were also aimed at destroying Iran’s infrastructure (4th house), with threats of destroying Iran’s oil infrastructure if they had not surrendered. But while it is true that damage was done to Iran, the wreckage inflicted upon Israel was comparatively worse.

Israel is a tiny, compact nation, while Iran is twice the size of Ukraine, with ten times the population. In comparison, the land mass of Israel would fit inside New Jersey with some to spare, while Iran would take up ¼ of the lower 48 states of the US. And roughly half of Iran is mountainous. This brings up an important point: Israel would never defeat Iran without a combined US-Israeli force. Even then, the West would lose such a war. So, here is the hard reality for Israel: Israel lost the 12-day war, no matter how thy try to spin it.

Winning a war means one’s objectives have been met. What the West via Israel wanted was as follows:

  • Regime change in Iran
  • The partition of Iran
  • The nuclear program in Iran destroyed
  • Control over Iran’s vast mineral and petroleum wealth
  • To disrupt the INSTC trade corridor
  • To weaken Russia and expose its underbelly in the Caucasus
  • With Iran out of the way, the Greater Israel (New Middle East) project clear for completion

Thus far, every aspect of the above points has failed. What has been achieved instead is as follows:

  • The destruction of the myths of Israeli invulnerability, technical superiority and intelligence services
  • Destruction of the hasbara around Israel’s ‘impenetrable’ Iron Dome air defences.
  • The consolidation of Iranian society around its leadership
  • The destruction of the foreign cells of infiltration in Iran
  • The continuance of Iran’s nuclear program, perhaps even to 90% enrichment – which, by the way can be used for peaceful purposes, like nuclear-powered ships, for instance.
  • The demonstration of Iran’s missile (aerospace) force and capacity. The Iranians say they only used about 5% of their real capacity and less than that of their missiles
  • Iran’s expulsion of the IAEA. Now the West is blind regarding the nuclear program.
  • Increased production of Iranian missiles, because they know the West under current US leadership will not let this go.
  • Closer military and defence ties with Russia and China, with Iran going on a shopping spree in China. Russia needs all of its assets for Ukraine.
  • The exodus of Israelis back to their European and American homelands. Cypriots are worried.
  • Probably most importantly, the surrounding states of the region were shown that Israel has a glass jaw. They will be re-evaluating their relations with both Iran and Israel, as well as with the West.
  • The war has caused divided opinion in the US, especially among the MAGA supporters – then again, maybe not so much. Domestic politics usually trumps foreign adventures.

You won’t hear any of the preceding points in Western media. Most of the above will be found in the following videos

US v. BRICS: The Global Battle for Power | Pepe Escobar Interview

Where does the situation between Iran and Israel stand, then? There is no formal ceasefire. There is a cessation of hostilities in effect, which means the conflict can flare up at any moment. Trump boasted that he brokered a ceasefire between the two, but in effect he told the Israelis to stand down and Iran followed suit. Neither side wants escalation at this point. If the war had continued for another week or two Israel would have been more of less neutralized. The Western backers of the war panicked when they saw Israel being wrecked and called on Trump to end it. Now we hear the Israeli Defence Minister posturing about attacking Iran again if the intelligence shows Iran to be rebuilding its nuclear sites. He says the US has greenlit such an attack. Iran is already repairing the sites.

There are only two ways Israel could possibly win against Iran, if one could call it ‘winning’ – nuclear strikes, or pulling the US fully into the war. Both means would most likely ensure the destruction of Israel, quite aside from wrecking the world economy. We will not look at the first option because it would erupt into a full nuclear exchange. A few nations have promised to supply Iran with nuclear weapons in such an event.

The 2nd option is actually feasible, regarding pulling the US into the war and given the relative ignorance of the American public regarding Iran. The indoctrination against Iran in the US has been constantly harped on via the media since 1979. Any action that results in the loss of American lives that could be pinned on Iran could conceivably be used to enrage the American public toward war – another 9/11 or some such. But Iran has been very careful to avoid American casualties in this war.

Looking out across the rubble that is now central Tel Aviv, having had time to assess the impact of the war on Israel, the experts in Israel have come to the conclusion that it was probably not the best idea to attack Iran. There was quite a bit of destruction in Iran, too, which we also have not seen.

There were celebrations in Iran after the fighting stopped. There were huge crowds in the streets for the funerals of their martyrs. Upwards of 1,000 Iranians were killed in the war, many of them women and children. The number of Israelis killed is a guarded secret, especially military casualties. But we do not hear of celebrations for an Israeli victory in Israel.

Still, Trump and Netanyahu carry on about how the war was a great success for Israel and Washington. Denial is one of the stages of grief. Netanyahu has visited Washington. No doubt discussions were held about the war and plans floated for the next strikes on Iran. Count on it.

As for the astrology of the three belligerents in this war, we will have a look at that in the next part. To be continued…
