Operation Epic Fury

On the last day of February 2026 a joint US-Israeli military operation targeted the leadership and military facilities of Iran. This was an unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation, one which had been close to making a deal with the United States on its nuclear program, one which would have given the US an even better deal than that of the JCPOA. Instead, we have what is very likely to turn out to be a wider regional war with global consequences. For more, read on…

Before we begin, much of what follows is sourced from journalists across the world, and much of which runs counter to the prevailing Western media narratives regarding this war. The war had been planned months in advance. The approximate date was set during Netanyahu’s visit to Mar-a-Lago at the end of last year. The attack was not preemptive. It was designed to collapse the Iranian leadership in the hopes of provoking the fall of the government and the fracturing of Iranian society. It is an old American canard.

This was a regime change war. It was decided firmly a week ago, during negotiations and coinciding with the Saturn/Neptune conjunction on the Aries world view point. This war will certainly change our view of the world, and in so many ways. The war coincided with the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Purim, which celebrates an ancient victory of the Israelites over the Persians. They also planned for it to coincide with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which ends on the 19^th of March this year.

In terms of the United States, the war is illegal under US constitutional law. It is also illegal under international law. But since when has international law mattered to the US or the Israelis? Congress should have been the sole arbiter of the declaration of war. That such has not been the case over the past decades is true. But it does not negate the fact. In the US this war is seen – and not without cause – as a war for Israel, for Zionism, and pejoratively as a war for the Jews, although there are a large number of Jews who strongly oppose this war. The operation itself is increasingly called ‘Epstein Fury’ (coined by Max Blumenthal) by comments online since it is seen as a distraction from the release of further Epstein files and fallout from the ones released already. However, there is more to this.

Overall, this war is an attempt to save our current late stage capitalism. It is a war against BRICS. Iran, as a BRICS nation was seen as the low hanging fruit in the eyes of the military planners in Israel and the United States. It was thought that the shock-and-awe tactic that Western military planners like to use would collapse the regime, as they like to call the Iranian government. They thought it would do so within a few days, which would thus disrupt China’s oil lifeline, its Belt and Road Initiative and Russia’s INSTC transport corridor, as well as exposing Russia’s underbelly in the Caucasus.

Given the way things are going, however, instead of ‘Operation Epic Fury’, this operation may come to be known as Epic Fail. The Israelis are calling their side of the operation ‘Operation Roaring Lion’. So far what they are headed toward is defeat, as a whimpering alley cat. With these points in mind we will take a quick look at the astrology for the event and then look at what has actually transpired.

The Wikipedia page on the strikes has them starting “at around 9:45 AM local time” in Tehran on 28 February. Wikipedia is not to be trusted in terms of exact timing for astrological charts. The closest timestamp I could find for the event was for 09:37 from a journalist who is reporting from the region. That timestamp is for 9:37 am Tehran time. It is that time which we shall use for the chart of the event, which is below (bigger):

The belligerents in any military chart are shown by the seventh house, which shows 16° of Scorpio. The ruler of the seventh house is Pluto which is elevated in the chart in Aquarius, with the Midheaven at the anaretic (last) degree of Capricorn. The main standout in the chart is the Mars/Uranus square, which was just separating but still partile. We note that transiting Mars was also activating the 17 February 2026 eclipse.

The Saturn/Neptune conjunction has left the Aries world view point, with Saturn now separating from Neptune, both of which are in Aries. That conjunction is sextile to Pluto and trine the Moon. The Moon is in Cancer at 29° conjunct the IC (4^th house cusp). These combinations show the real purpose of the attack, which was twofold: Firstly it was meant to decapitate the leadership of Iran (Pluto in the 10^th house) and destabilize the populace (4th house) and secondly it is a war for the oligarchy in the US. Pluto rules oligarchs.

As for being a successful operation, only in one respect has it been successful, in that the Ayatollah Khamenei was assassinated in the initial attacks along with members of his family and a few high-level officials. However, that has not removed the leadership. Successors had already been nominated and the leadership functioned as if nothing untoward had happened.

Of interest to note is that Saturn sits on the 12^th house cusp, ruled by Aries and Mars, and shows the unintended consequences of the conflict. Among other matters the 12^th house rules assassinations and assassins, conspiracies, the secret enemies of the nation, karmic responsibilities, one’s downfall, oil and oil wells, and subversion. Situated in the 12^th house of the event chart we see a partile conjunction between Ceres and Eris, the latter being the planet of discord, said to have accompanied Mars on the battlefield. That conjunction points to a turning point in affairs, because Chiron is also there conjunct Ceres and Eris, forming a minor stellium. All three are squared by the Moon in the chart.

Saturn rules martyrs and martyrdom. Saturn also rules the 10^th house, which has Capricorn as its ruler. Neptune and Pluto both rule betrayal. At the time of the attack a group of senior leaders in Iran were gathered at Khameinei’s home discussing the pending deal that had been worked out on the uranium enrichment and nuclear program for Iran. A deal was within reach, according to the head Omani negotiator. Instead, the meeting was bombed in an act of betrayal, the third such incident that had occurred at the hands of the Israelis. The first two times took place with the assassination of Nasrallah, who was in a meeting with senior Hezbollah officials. The second one was the bombing of a meeting being held by Hamas negotiators in Doha, who actually survived.

With Khamenei being assassinated, that changes the course of the war. For the Iranians this was an absolute red line. They didn’t just lose their religious leader. Khamenei became a martyr. Khamenei died the way he wished to go. Now instead of a war of self-defense, Iran is prosecuting a war of revenge.

The assassination of Khamenei has enraged the entire Shia Muslim world. There are reports now of the American Embassy in Pakistan being stormed, as well as the Green Zone in Baghdad having been breached. The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have become activated on the side of Iran. Neither the Americans nor the Israelis realize what they have done in assassinating Khamenei. His son has been chosen by the Council of Experts as his successor.

The Moon rules the fourth house in the event chart and is conjunct the fourth house cusp, showing the damage to Iranian infrastructure and deaths of its people. But a point of interest is that the Moon is trine to the Saturn/Neptune conjunction, which has united the Iranian population in its calls for revenge. In the earliest hours of the attack one of the missiles launched into Iran, from an American fighter jet, hit a girls’ elementary school in southern Iran, which as of this writing killed 168 girls between the ages of 7 and 12 and a few adults. That alone invoked the fury of the Iranian people. Now with the martyrdom of Khamenei, the will of the populace of Iran has become an iron resolve.

The Taurus ascendant, ruled by Venus, represents the common people of the nation under attack. The ascendant in such chart also represents the purpose of the attack, which was the overthrow of the Iranian government. That being the case, the US and Israel have failed to topple the government. Taurus is one of the most resilient signs of the zodiac, and the Iranian people and its military are standing resolute under intensive bombardment. In his final days before the attack, Khamenei had instructed the top leadership across the board to nominate a lineage of four successors. He knew what was coming.

Mercury and Venus are in a combust conjunction at 23° of Pisces. The conjunction is in the 11^th house of the chart. Pisces is intercepted in the 11^th house, that house being ruled by Aquarius. The 11^th house shows social alliances, brotherhoods, friends of the nation in a mundane chart, national desires and a nation’s goals. The goals of the Iranians were to avoid war, yet it landed on their doorstep, as it were. Mercury is retrograde in the chart, which goes along with the old saying that war has unintended consequences. The placement of the ruler of the Ascendant in the 11^th house reinforces the unity of the Iranian public.

The war went awry for Israel and the United States from the start. Trump especially wanted a quick victory, one that he could claim as a boost to his ratings and to satisfy his donors. Instead what he has created along with the Israelis will be a longer war of attrition, one which he had wanted to avoid at all costs.

Within the first hour of being attacked, the Iranians were retaliating. Within the first 10 hours they had hit every American military base in the region. They closed the Strait of Hormuz. They had struck targets in Israel including Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. They sent drones to the US Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea, probing the air defenses there. They blinded America’s over the horizon radar and other radar installations in the region’s US military bases, which in effect has enabled the Iranians to actually employ their Air Force in this conflict. Their Air Force has attacked installations across the region. Meanwhile Israeli and American air forces cannot overfly Iran. There are no videos showing aircraft in Iranian air space. If there has been you can bet they would be aired in the Wstern press.

Particularly hard-hit by Iran has been the UAE, where Trump, the Kushners, Witkoff and Lutnick all have very significant business interests. As soon as the UAE began taking blows Trump contacted diplomats in Italy in an attempt to form a back channel with the Iranians to call an immediate cease-fire to the conflict. Not even 24 hours had passed and Trump was already seeking a way out. The Iranians refused the offer. There will be no negotiations. What actually shows in the Iranian chart for this attack? The transits and directions to Iran’s chart are below (bigger):

Transiting Pluto had just come within orb of the semisquare with Iran’s Neptune, showing the betrayal. Transiting Saturn formed a sesquisquare with Iran’s Leo Ascendant, indicating a fated event. The progressed Moon by secondary progression had just passed the Descendent, showing the war.

Solar arcs showed a direction of Pluto square to Iran’s Venus, the latter ruling Iran’s Midheaven. That solar arc showed the martyrdom of Khamenei as well as the betrayal. The ruler of the Midheaven in a national chart indicates the head of state. The directed Midheaven and directed Mars aspected the Iranian Mercury, the latter ruling the 11^th and 2^nd houses of Iran’s chart. Transiting Uranus formed favorable aspects with that combination, showing the ability of the Iranians to quickly turn the situation around. That combination points to organization. Reading it as a midpoint is rather of interest:

• • Mars/MC=Mercury: The inclination to act with deliberation, the stage of organizing things, acting according to regulations and instructions, a person laying down instructions or orders. – The receipt of exciting news, adjustment to new occupation.

The Mars/MC combination points to the attainment of one’s own aims in life through resolute action. It can also point to failures caused through wrong arrangements or instructions. But that is not what we see in this case. The Iranians are acting very deliberately, acting upon their constitutional orders, and displaying resolute action. The next direction we see is Jupiter opposite Ceres, showing an expansive change in the nation’s direction, or possibly a change wrought by overreach.

What do we not see in terms of transits and directions to Iran’s chart? We do not see a failure of the state or regime change. That may have been possible in the 12-Day war, referring back to that post, but even there we saw that the Iranians rallied. Instead, what do we see for the US and for Israel in relation to this attack?

The US chart with directions and transits for the start of Operation Epic Fury is below (bigger):

Of particular interest is the Saturn/Neptune conjunction on the 4^th house cusp of the US Sibley chart. The transit of Neptune is within two minutes of arc of being exact, with Saturn beginning to separate from the conjunction. It is a powerful conjunction and taking place on the fourth house cusp means that it directly affects the security of the United States, the welfare of its people, and by reflex the sitting government. For the latter, this war will go down in history as a colossal blunder by the US and Israel.

The transiting Sun, North node and Mars were all in the third house, with Mars having just passed its conjunction with the natal Moon, along with the Sun and north node conjunct the US Ceres, contributing a turning point in fortunes. The progressed and directed Sun was exactly square Mars as well as aspecting the natal nodal axis. The direction by the Sun to Mars showed the belligerence of the US, along with its overconfidence and internal tensions.

Directed Mars was aspecting the natal Saturn, accentuating the overconfidence but also marking the blunder. The directed Venus was aspecting the natal Vertex, showing a date with destiny. But most telling, was the direction of Pluto square to the natal Jupiter, showing the influence of the oligarchs pushing for the prosecution of this war.

The directed south node was conjunct the natal Saturn, a conjunction sometimes called the ‘Master of Tragedy’. More esoterically it represents an opportunity to finally resolve issues or karma from the past. We are certainly seeing that now for the US across a variety of fields, too much to address here.

The directed Descendent was semisquare to natal Jupiter along with the directed square of Pluto to Jupiter, again highlighting the true purpose of the war: It was fomented for the so-called Epstein class of American and associated oligarchs, especially those who are Zionists or who lean that way. Moving on to Israel, the transits and directions to the Israeli 16:15 working chart are telling, below (bigger):

For Israel this war was activated by transiting Mars to 17 February eclipse point, which is opposite Israel’s Mars. Transiting Pluto was opposite Israel’s Moon, activating directed Chiron, the former ruling the 10^th house. That transit over the directed Chiron shows the pain that Israel is now experiencing as Iranian missiles impact Israel. Word through the grapevine according to Cols. Macgregor and Wilkerson are that Tel Aviv is beginning to resemble Gaza.

Transiting Uranus was square Israel’s Mars, forming a t-square with the Mars opposition/eclipse axis. All of these factors showed Israel’s rush to finish with Iran, as they sought, but with the possibility that in acting rashly the whole project could come undone. We will know more about that by the end of this week.

The directed Ascendant was square to Israel’s Neptune, along with a direction of Mercury aspecting the natal Neptune, a combination showing a fundamental delusion and miscalculation. The Midheaven for 8:00 am was at the directed Ascendant when the operation was launched. Directed Mars was square to natal Pluto, showing the fury with which the Operation Roaring Lion was launched, along with a direction by Mars to Jupiter showing the overconfidence in the operation. Transiting Uranus was quincunx to Jupiter at the time, too, showing the unexpected reversal of events.

Directed Uranus was square to Israel’s Ceres marking a sudden, unexpected and major turning point for the country. This is reinforced by a direction of Ceres square to Israel’s Sun. Ceres has been called ‘Pluto’s Little Sister’ in astronomy, but its effects also have a Plutonian facet to them astrologically. The directed Midheaven was aspecting Israel’s Mars along with the directed Vertex conjunct Mars. The 28^th of February certainly was Israel’s date with destiny.

For Donald Trump, mentioned in the post for 17 February eclipse, it was noted that directed Neptune was opposite his Sun. In that post it was noted that such a direction can show weakness in the heart or the spine. But it also shows something else, in that Trump was suckered into this war. Neptune rules deception as well as weakness. It can also show inspiration, but we can hardly imagine Trump feeling inspired at the moment.

Also mentioned in the post for 17 February eclipse was that the Mars activation of the eclipse, which was on the last day of February this year, was opposite Trump’s Mars in Leo and approaching its conjunction with his Descendent. One thing that will come from this event, and in all probability, is the coming avalanche of litigations about his taking America into war. And if further Epstein revelations come out within the next days, that will only add to Trump’s woes.

What was just mentioned about Trump is also true for Bibi Netanyahu regarding Mars because Mars in Leo is shared by both Trump and Netanyahu. For Netanyahu, these last months have seen the Saturn/Neptune conjunction squaring his Horizon axis from his third house. This war could also mean legal matters will loom large for him as well – if he has not already been killed. There have been rumors that as of this writing he was killed in a missile strike.

With all the preceding in mind, then, where does the situation with the war stand at the moment? Within the first 10 hours, the Iranians began their retaliation. Khomenei was assassinated along with a few leaders. There were videos of Israelis dancing at the news of his assassination, as well as ex-pat Iranians celebrating. I seem to recall that when Syria fell and it was claimed that Syria was liberated from Assad, the expat Syrians were celebrating. We do not see a mass return of Syrians into that troubled country now, do we? It would be much the same for the Iranian expats  if the Iranian government had fallen and the nation was fractured, because it will become a failed state. Besides, the expat Iranians on the whole have gone on to good lives in Western nations on the whole.

Instead, what we see now are millions of Iranians within Iran pouring into the streets demanding revenge for Khamenei’s death. So, what the US and Israel were calling a war for Iran’s liberation from tyranny has instead completely backfired and has united Iranians throughout the nation.

When the Iranians started counterattacking, they hit all the major military US military installations in the region along with Israel. With those now out of commission and sealed off by the closure of the Strait American naval forces have to go far south to Diego Garcia to reload. It causes a week’s delay in their operations. Logistics win or lose wars. The naval base in Bahrain has been destroyed. With all the major radar installations in the region being disabled or detroyed the American forces cannot track Iranian ballistic missiles. The Americans are now flying blind. The Al-Udeid air base in Qatar has been abandoned.

The Strait of Hormuz has been closed to all Western shipping. Russian and Chinese ships are allowed to pass. There are a large number of tankers and cargo ships now stuck in the Persian Gulf until further notice. Gas prices in Europe as of this writing have risen 25% on the news of the closing of the Strait. Prices for crude oil are also likewise rising, expected to top $100/barrel soon. That means higher prices for all goods and energy, across the board.

With the opening strikes by the US and Israelis having struck a girls’ school, killing those young girls was a war crime, as was the double-tap strike after. In a separate incident they also struck a gymnasium killing 20 female volleyball players. That was deliberate, too. Such strikes have another name — terrorism. I’ve seen claims in social media that the girls school was struck by Iranians, which is reminiscent of the early days of the claims made about Russian strikes during the war in Ukraine. There also claims that the girls’ school was very close to or embedded with a military base, all of which is misinformation. The school was founded on an abandoned military base, but the closest military installation is 600m from the school – a naval base in southern Iran. A strike 600m from a school would not have killed 165 children. This was a deliberate attack, as well as being a double-tap strike, which killed rescuers as well. The killing of these young people in the strikes has further enraged the Iranians to take revenge against the US and Israel. To the West and Israel the girls’ deaths are just ‘collateral damage’.

Not long after the Iranians started retaliating for the strikes, they started hitting a naval base in the UAE, but also sites where the Trump family had business ties, and the CIA had a headquarters. The hotels where those business and security interests were located are now gutted by flames. America personnel were relocated to nearby hotels. Those were struck, too. They became legitimate military targets when beligerent forces were housed in them. But it was when Trump’s business interests started getting hit that he made his calls to the Italian diplomatic corps. This was a very smart strategic move by the Iranians, because now given all that is happened Trump wants a quick end to the war. And the Pentagon is in turmoil, seeing the damage that is being wrought upon American interests in the region.

The day after the initial strikes drones struck the British Air Force base in Cyprus, now thought to have been a false flag attempt by the Israelis. We also heard that the Iranians had struck the Incirlik airbase in Turkey, which turns out is not true. But the Iranians are not holding back. We were warned by them about what would happen if either Israel or the United States or both decided to go to war with Iran. The Iranians have been good to their word.

This war has turned out to be a catastrophe for the Western powers. France and the UK have decided they want in on a little bit of the action, which is a joke. They don’t have the forces, the equipment or the logistics to aid in any meaningful manner in prosecuting that West’s war on BRICS, as this war surely is. But that’s not all.

The Iraqi Popular Militia Units have entered the fray and are attacking American interests within Iraq. Iraq has a population of about 30% Shia. Reports are that the Green Zone in Baghdad has been overrun, taking over the Iraqi Parliament building. They are also hitting American radar installations in Iraq. There are reports of the Houthis near to declaring war on Israel and the US. They have effectively closed the Bab-al-Mandeb Strait. So, we have the two major checkpoints in the Middle East closed off. The economic fallout from this will be long-lasting and severe if the war continues for very long.

Hezbollah, which has been dormant for many months now, has started firing rockets into Israel once again, and in coordination with the Iranians, with Israel heavily bombing parts of Beirut and southern Lebanon.

Gas infrastructure for some of the Persian Gulf states have been hit by a Iranian counter strikes or turned off. The Iranians are very clear in saying they are not hitting the Gulf States themselves, but instead American installations that are located in those states. Thus far, there is been no backlash from the Gulf States.

Instead of the Iranian regime falling, the first regime change we may see in the region is that of Bahrain, which has about 70 to 80% Shia population, ruled by a sometimes brutal Sunni monarchy and security state. There have been riots in the streets there, along with celebrations whenever an Iranian missile strikes aside in Bahrain.

There have been reports of Saudi oil infrastructure being hit, with the caveat that the sites that have been hit are controlled by American Western interests.

So we see that this war has a very big economic component to it. The aim of the Iranians is to drive the United States out of the region and to end the Zionist regime in Israel. Even after two full days there are signs that this is already beginning to happen. The Israelis have been hit particularly hard especially in Haifa, Tel Aviv and parts of Jerusalem. Settler enclaves are also being hit.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Gaza and the West Bank as the war progresses. But on the Iranian side, like we see with the Russians in Ukraine, this war will be decided on the battlefield, and in all likelihood by the Iranians. What the Americans are starting to see and will increasingly see in the coming days is the escalation by Iran.

The assassination of Khamenei has caused a firestorm of all the Shia populations in the region. It has also galvanized the wider Muslim world, because, Khamenei was greatly respected and revered among Muslims. Neither the Israelis nor the Americans seem to have any idea what they have brought upon themselves by assassinating this one man. But it brings to mind what Yamamoto was reported as saying after the attack on Pearl Harbor: “I fear all we have done is to awaken the sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

What we will see across the West in the coming days is an attempt to somehow spin this war as the fault of the Iranians. They are trying to blame the Israelis as it is. It is pure propaganda. But let’s not suffer the illusion that Israel is to blame for this war. Washington has wanted this war for the past 47 years, ever since our puppet regime of the Shah was ignominiously thrown out by the people of Iran. The wealthy Iranians, many of them Jews, fled Iran at the time and took their money with them. Those are the ones, the few who are now celebrating as the US and Israel bomb their own native land. We can probably bet they would not be welcomed back.

Every Western nation now is going to feel the effects, primarily economic, as events unfold. My advice to anyone is to keep a full tank of fuel in your vehicles and your heating oil topped up now if you need it. But we can expect higher prices across the board for everything because especially in America, everything moves by truck. We don’t have the rail infrastructure really to keep the prices down.

However, anything can happen, and miracles sometimes do. Just be aware that both Trump and Netanyahu and other officials now have targets on them. We might note that Netanyahu is constantly moving around now. And then the backlash in the United States coming from Congress and the military will be swift, though with a very concerted effort to bring this war to a close and somehow spin a victory from it.

For Israel, the outcome is going to be probably much worse. They have wanted this war for a long time. So has the US. The purpose is not simply to break up Iran, though. They (Israel) want all of the Persian Gulf states under their thumb and to do that they have to drive the Americans out of the region. The Israelis want to control the whole ball of wax and to be independent in doing so. But they are in a catch-22. They rely on the US for their armaments, because without that they are unable to prosecute their wars and dominance.

To be able to act independently the Israelis either must have the US totally under their control, or they have to drive the Americans out of the region. It was now or never for them. The Arab states have been two-faced toward Iran since the revolution. The Arabs are known for being two-faced anyway. Now they are facing their own existential threat for having done so. And the US will do nothing to save them.

Then there are the foolish evangelical so-called Christian Zionists who have bought into this war hook, line and sinker. And they are making no effort to hide the fact. This goes all the way to the top in the US, with administration officials saying Trump was chosen by God for this war – to ignite Armageddon – and that in attacking Iran they are doing God’s work. If so, God must be desperate to have picked these people – idiots – to have taken the US to war, and against a nation that has presented no threat to the US. And the Zionist billionaires are anything but God-like.

The Iranians appear to have carefully calibrated this war, though. They have a list of targets they’re going to be striking, among which are those of essential infrastructure. From everything I have read, the aim by Iran is to take this to a conclusion wherein such a war will not be possible into the future. They will likely stop just short of totally destroying Israel, but the Zionists will not be able to reconstitute their project after the fact. There has been talk of nuclear weapons, but the Chinese, the Russian, the Pakistanis and even the Saudis (who have access to such weapons) will have a say in that. People are rightly frightened by the prospect. This latter point is likely under very close and careful observation.

If there are Israelis who are opposed to this war it is advisable to stock up on food and water. This is going to be a longer war of attrition. And once infrastructure is gone it takes a long time to replace it. The same is true of the Arab Gulf states. The Iranians can keep going at this war for longer than the Americans or the Israelis. And with the Western logistics hubs and bases in the region having been destroyed, resupplying troops in the region just became that much harder. This is the primary objective by Iran in these first days – to make it exceedingly difficult for the US and Israel to restock and re-arm.

As a final note, there is talk now of attempting an invasion of Iran, which would mean American troops. That would be the stupidest move of all. Why it would be can be described in one word: geography. No nation with any sense would attempt it. Geography is a big and primary reason why Persia/Iran has survived intact for thousands of years.

Well, Americans are already dying in this war. According to Trump, “That’s the way it is.” I doubt the families who mourn the loss of their loved ones in this war for the Zionists and oligarchs are just shrugging their shoulders like the man ‘chosen by God’ and saying, “Well, that’s the way it is.”

Pray for peace to come soon. This is a terrible war that should never have happened and could have been avoided. It is always the few idiots and nut jobs who ruin things for everyone else.
