2025 and the Green/Wood Snake – the planetary indicators

2025 began with a bang, following on the Capricorn ingress. Mars was retrograde, opposing Pluto and out-of-bounds. There were two potentially violent and destructive midpoints (see below). The Great Comet of 2025 reached perihelion at mid-January. There will be four eclipses this year, two of them total lunar eclipses, which are also full moons. Then, there is the first full year of a midpoint formed with the three outer main planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – which will finally end on the last year of the Trump administration (2028). Described below, that midpoint underpins all the other midpoints, marking the remaking of the world order over those years. 2025 will be a very full year astrologically and in terms of events. Enjoy! The Great North American Eclipse of 2024: Washington comes to Jesus?

The total solar eclipse of 8 April 2024 is perhaps the most important eclipse of the year. There is huge hype about it in social media (see: ‘The full moon’ and ‘Eclipse humor’). Besides the fact it is a total solar eclipse, it traces its path of totality across central Mexico up through Texas, striking an arc across central states and finally passing out to sea from Newfoundland. It will be the first total solar eclipse visible in the US in seven years. The next total solar eclipse will not be visible in the US until 2044. But there is more to it than the eclipse visibility in the US. This eclipse affects the US, and in important ways, and comes at a critical juncture in American domestic and international affairs. For more, read on… Continue reading “The Great North American Eclipse of 2024: Washington comes to Jesus?”

2023 and the Black Rabbit – the planetary indicators

The 22nd of January marks the start of the Year of the Black Rabbit. We go into this year with rising inflation across the West and much of the world, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and rising protest movements in many parts of the world. If we thought the Black Rabbit might bring a kinder, softer year, we would be mistaken. 2023 will mark a decided pivot in the international power structure, with all the attendant restiveness and uncertainty that such change inevitably brings. For more, read on. Continue reading “2023 and the Black Rabbit – the planetary indicators”

The 8 Nov 2022 total lunar eclipse

The full moon on 8 Nov 2022 is also an eclipse, a total lunar eclipse. The preceding eclipse two weeks before, with the Sun/Moon lunation in the first degrees of Scorpio, has produced some strong results, some of which will be catalogued in what follows here. Although the latter eclipse is in a waning series, Mars was also out-of-bounds, increasing tensions and producing some violent and catastrophic events. The results of the present eclipse will be revolutionary, instead. For more, read on… Continue reading “The 8 Nov 2022 total lunar eclipse”

The 25 Oct 2022 partial solar eclipse

As the title of this post indicates, there will be a partial solar eclipse on the 25th of October 2022. It comes at a time of tumultuous developments in the world, very fitting for Scorpio, the sign in which it occurs. Scorpio is the sign of the victorious warrior, having claimed victory over the inner demons, illusions, glamours and maya that have beset humanity since there has been a humanity on this planet. There is more about victory scattered about in this post, too. For more, read on… Continue reading “The 25 Oct 2022 partial solar eclipse”

The 30 April 2022 partial solar eclipse

On 30 April 2022 there will be a partial solar eclipse at the 11th degree of Taurus. It will be followed two weeks later by a total lunar eclipse at the full moon of Taurus, the Wesak moon. The latter will be a blood moon eclipse, as well as being a particularly powerful eclipse. The current eclipse will be covered here as the precursor to the Wesak moon. These two eclipses also fit into the larger picture of the astrological forecast for the Aries-to-Cancer quarter for this year, described in a previous post. With these points in mind, we begin our investigation. Continue reading “The 30 April 2022 partial solar eclipse”
